About the role

We at edsoQ are looking for language trainers to teach English, Korean, Arabic, German and French, as well as trainers specialising in IELTS preparation.

Applicants may apply to teach one or more languages based on their expertise. We welcome trainers who can deliver engaging lessons and help learners build confidence for everyday communication, academic study, examinations or professional use.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group language classes.
• Assess learners’ proficiency, goals and learning needs.
• Prepare structured lessons suited to different levels and age groups.
• Develop learners’ speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
• Provide practical exercises in vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.
• Track progress and give constructive feedback.
• Prepare learning materials, assignments and assessments.
• For IELTS trainers, deliver exam preparation, conduct mock tests and provide feedback using IELTS assessment criteria.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in the language you intend to teach.
• Previous language teaching or tutoring experience.
• Clear communication and effective lesson planning skills.
• Ability to adapt lessons to different learning needs.
• Confidence delivering interactive individual and group sessions.
• For online teaching, reliable internet access and suitable equipment.
• For IELTS trainers, sound knowledge of the test format, band descriptors and assessment criteria.

Preferred qualifications

• A degree in languages, education, linguistics or a related field.
• A recognised teaching qualification relevant to your language.
• Experience teaching beginner, intermediate or advanced learners.
• Experience preparing learners for language proficiency examinations.
