HVAC Service Technician (Waukesha) at Edelman in Waukesha, WI

Description

Hey there! We’re Edelman, and we’re looking for a Maintenance/Service Technician Rockstar.

At Edelman, we believe in empowering our technicians and providing a clear path to the top. This isn't just about turning a wrench; it’s about being the face of a "World Class" organization. If you have the foundational skills and are ready to step out from under a lead and start running your own calls with a company that trusts your expertise, you’re in the right place.

You Should Apply If:

• You’re a Master of Independence. You’re ready to hop in your own van, run your own calls, and take total ownership of your day.
• You’re Humbly Confident. You’ve got at least 6 months of experience under your belt, but you’re hungry to learn the high-level diagnostic skills that make a Master Tech.
• You’re a Great Communicator. You enjoy educating customers on their system’s health and helping them find the best solutions for their homes.
• You’re Goal-Oriented. You don’t just want a paycheck; you want to hit your NATE certifications and sales metrics to level up your career.
• You’re Radically Honest. You take pride in doing a comprehensive check every single time, even when no one is looking over your shoulder.

You Shouldn’t Apply If:

• You aren’t comfortable working on your own or making decisions in the field.
• You think "learning time" is a waste of time—we require 20 hours of training a year.
• You prefer to just "fix it and leave" without talking to the homeowner.

Your Daily Mission:

• The On-Site Expert: Work independently to provide high-quality maintenance on residential HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Quality Maintenance: Perform comprehensive system checks and filter changes that meet the "Edelman Standard."
• Customer Education: Inform customers about their system’s health and the value of our maintenance agreements and enhancements.
• Continuous Improvement: Track your progress with dispatch, nail your service forms, and work toward the goals that move you to Level 3 and beyond.
• Professional Operations: Keep your company vehicle safe and your tools sharp. You represent the brand!

What You Bring to the Table:

• The Experience: Minimum of 6 months in HVAC service with the ability to run maintenance calls solo.
• The Credentials: A valid driver's license, the ability to pass background/drug screens, and an EPA Certification (or the drive to get it fast!).
• The Mindset: A commitment to safety, quality, and a "can-do" attitude.
• The Hustle: Readiness to meet performance goals and level up your skills in soldering, troubleshooting, and more.

Why Edelman?

• Competitive Pay: Get rewarded for your expertise, $20–$30 per hour depending on your level.
• Career Advancement: We don't just give you a job; we give you a path. We'll help you develop the skills to move from maintenance to high-level service.
• Stability: A consistent schedule with a supportive team that has your back.
• The Loyalty Program: We think long-term. Our loyalty program runs for 50 years—the longer you stay, the more you earn.
• Total Protection: Health insurance (we cover a portion!), Vision, Dental, and a $25,000 Life Insurance policy at no cost to you.
• Future Focus: 401k through Vanguard with a 4% company match.
• The Perks: Access to "Access Perks" for discounts on travel, food, and shopping, plus voluntary benefits like Short-Term Disability.

Our DNA (The Edelman Way)

Our mission is to make the world a better place, one home at a time. From the Heartland to Florida, we are rooted in faith, family, and a commitment to excellence.

• We Are Solutions Driven: We embrace challenges with creativity. If a system is acting up, we find the "Radically Honest" solution that drives success.
• We Are Radically Honest: Integrity is our heartbeat. We foster a culture of transparency and accountability that builds lifelong trust with our customers.
• We Are Humbly Confident: Our expertise gives us confidence, but we approach every situation with humility. We celebrate our successes, learn from our mistakes, and treat everyone with respect and kindness.
