Product Specialist at Eaton in South Milwaukee, WI

Summary: Eaton is a leader in power management solutions and is currently seeking a Product Specialist. In this role, you will connect customer needs to solutions by creating proposals for the Switchgear Portfolio while collaborating with sales, engineering, and operations to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Build customer ready proposals that combine pricing, lead times, technical details, and commercial terms
- Partner closely with field sales to provide guidance, training, budget pricing, and presales technical support
- Clarify incomplete or complex requests and recommend product options, alternates, and accessories
- Support order accuracy, approval drawings, change requests, and ongoing customer needs
- Use customer and sales feedback to improve proposal quality and customer experience
- Maintain pricing accuracy, support process improvements, and uphold ISO standards
- Collaborate across engineering, scheduling, production, and quality teams to deliver solutions that work

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- A minimum one year of work experience in product support, customer service, inside sales, or proposal support

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field from an accredited institution is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience using an ERP systems and a quotation system is preferred
- Minimum of 1 year working with SAP would be a bonus
- Four years or more of experience in product support, customer service, inside sales, or proposal support in a technical environment is desired
- Experience in the commercial & industrial and utility markets would be a plus
