The role prepares design documentation, supports industrial power and instrumentation work, and collaborates with Engineering and other disciplines to help projects move from design intent to reliable field implementation. The position focuses on physical design and documentation, not control-system programming or configuration.
• Develop FEL2/FEL3 scopes and estimates for industrial capital projects.
• Prepare and update electrical and controls design documents, including cable and conduit schedules, cable tray and control room plans, loop diagrams, installation details, I/O loading diagrams, and panel and cabinet layouts.
• Support electrical power design for systems and equipment such as power distribution equipment, MCCs, VFDs, transformers, and switchgear.
• Design or support lighting, grounding, and electrical heat-tracing systems.
• Apply electrical area-classification and hazardous-location requirements to design work.
• Support construction, checkout, and commissioning by responding to field questions and helping resolve design issues.
• Coordinate design activities with electrical, instrumentation, process, and other engineering disciplines.
• Produce accurate, practical documentation that supports safe installation and commissioning.
