Summary: e.l.f. Beauty is a leading cosmetics brand committed to clean, cruelty-free beauty. They are seeking a Summer Intern to support their Visual Merchandising and Design team by creating retail displays and graphics, while gaining hands-on experience in retail design execution. Responsibilities: - Assist with creating and updating store display graphics and retail layouts - Help organize design files, maintain archives, and keep project documentation tidy - Learn how to read basic retail plans, including planograms, dielines, and product layouts - Support simple production tasks such as trimming, cutting, comping, and mockups - Communicate with team members to track progress and meet deadlines - Work both independently and collaboratively to complete assigned tasks Required Qualifications: - Must be a rising junior or senior at the time of the internship - Must be available for the full internship period: June 1st - August 21st - Available for in-office work at least three days per week - Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Acrobat - Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially for tracking and communication - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Effective time management with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines - Clear communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset Preferred Qualifications: - SketchUp or basic 3D experience - Previous exposure to retail design, beauty, fashion, or wellness - Experience reading planograms or working with store layouts - A small portfolio showcasing retail, environmental, or graphic design work Required Skills: Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, Retail design, Planogram reading, 3D design (SketchUp) Benefits: Competitive pay and benefits, Bonus eligibility (200% of target over the last four fiscal years), Equity, Flexible time off, Year-round half-day Fridays, Hybrid 3 day in office, 2 day at home work environment
