Job Description
Position Summary: The Hospitality & Events Specialist supports company and owner events (to include cleaning, cooking and event coordination) at the Red Barn and Crew House. This position will also support events and meal preparations for Dynamic Aviation events as requested. This position will report to the Facilities Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensures a welcoming and pleasant experience for any visitors or customers
Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming
Services, cleans or supplies restrooms
Cleans windows, glass partitions, or mirrors using cleaners (to include bleach if needed), sponges or squeegees
Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures
Gathers and empties trash
Cleans and changes bedding, linens, towels, rugs as needed
Purchases, picks up and delivers products, food and beverages for events using personal vehicle
Inventory management of supplies and products at the Red Barn and Crew House
Prepares or assists with snacks and meals for meetings and events as needed to include events for Dynamic Aviation (ex: Managers Conference)
Notifies Facilities Manager concerning the need for major repairs or maintenance issues
Requisitions supplies, equipment, and food items needed for duties
Tracks and submits receipts in a timely manner
Sets up, arranges and removes decorations, tables, chairs to prepare events and meetings
Watering plants at Red Barn
Patio maintenance at Red Barn
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
1-3 years of related work experience
Work well with internal and external customers at all levels
Strong customer service orientation and focus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and meet internal deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage projects successfully while working with minimal direct oversight
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
Previous event management experience
Additional Requirements
Ability to travel as required - minimal Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (often 4-8+ hours during events) Capability to lift and carry moderately heavy items (typically 20–40 lbs, such as décor, signage, or supplies) Frequent bending, reaching, and crouching during setup and breakdown Good mobility to move quickly between event areas and venues Stamina to handle long, irregular hours, including early mornings and late nights Manual dexterity for handling small items (place cards, décor details, etc.) Ability to work in various environments (indoor, outdoor, different weather conditions) Physical energy to assist with setup, rearranging furniture, and last-minute adjustments Tolerance for noise, crowds, and high-activity environments Passport or work authorization requirement to work in the US
Working Conditions
8am – 5 pm, variable work schedule based on business needs and events scheduled
Pay Band: $15.96 - $22.00 per hour. Starting pay is determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity, and typically falls between the minimum and midpoint of the pay range.
