Job Description
Summary: Duit Holdings, Inc. is a woman-owned, minority-owned small business specializing in Information Technology, headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. They are seeking motivated college students for their paid part-time summer internship program, where interns will receive personalized training and work on impactful IT projects related to AI and machine learning.
Responsibilities:
- Receive personalized training from an IT professional with 20+ years of experience in DoD and private industry
- Work on real-world projects supporting our Recruitment or IT teams
- Enhance your technical skills through a customized instructional plan
- Apply your knowledge in data pipeline development, data modeling, programming, and problem solving to help build and improve AI/ML training pipelines—supporting reliable data ingestion, transformation, validation, and performance monitoring
- Gain proficiency in DevOps and MLOps in a structured corporate environment
- Strengthen your problem-solving, time management, and communication skills in a professional setting
- Complete IT coursework and projects under expert mentorship
Required Qualifications:
- Actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- GPA: Minimum of a 3.0
- Experience or coursework in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript or C++. Experience with agentic coding tools such as Codex, Claude Code or Gemini
- Reside within 20 miles of Baltimore, Maryland, or attend a nearby accredited institution (e.g., University of Maryland Baltimore County preferred)
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures
- Working knowledge of Natural Language Processors (NLPs) and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure. (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Problem-solving abilities, analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills
