Partner & Customer Success PreSales Lead (APAC) at DT One · Beijing

Overview

DT One is looking for an APAC – Partner & Customer Success PreSales Lead to oversee the technical, operational and performance management of our customers and partners across Asia Pacific.

This is a highly cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of Commercial, Technology, Product, Operations, Data, Customers and Partners.

The successful candidate will act as the regional orchestrator, ensuring that opportunities move smoothly from commercial discussions through technical validation, integration and launch, while also helping existing customers and services perform and grow.

This person will be a trusted regional counterpart for DT One's commercial teams, customers, vendors and mobile operator partners, and will lead the Partner & Customer Success capability within APAC.

The Role

Commercial & PreSales Enablement

• Act as the primary technical and operational partner to the APAC Commercial teams.
• Translate customer requirements into clear technical and product requirements and help determine how DT One's platforms and capabilities can best support them.
• Participate in customer discussions where technical, integration, product or operational knowledge is required.
• Challenge and refine requirements where necessary before they reach Product and Engineering teams.

Customer Performance & Data Analysis

• Take an active role in understanding the performance of customers across the APAC portfolio.
• Analyze transactional and commercial data to identify revenue trends, product performance, transaction success rates, error patterns and changes in customer behaviour.
• The role should go beyond reporting performance and help determine the underlying reasons behind customer growth or decline, working with the appropriate internal and external teams to address issues or opportunities.

Customer Success & Relationship Management

• Build strong relationships with key customers across the region and act as a senior escalation point for technical and operational matters.
• Maintain a strong understanding of strategic customers, their integrations, product portfolios and performance.
• Work proactively with customers and Commercial teams to improve integrations, operational performance and overall engagement with DT One.

Mobile Operator & Strategic Partner Engagement

• Develop and maintain relationships with mobile operators and strategic partners across APAC.
• Work closely with their commercial, product, technical and operational teams to understand platforms, resolve issues, coordinate changes and identify opportunities to expand DT One's services.
• Given DT One's reliance on operator platforms for a range of mobile products and digital services, this role will be an important regional interface between DT One and the operator ecosystem.

Vendor & Integration Management

• Own the initial review of new vendor and partner integrations within the region.
• Review APIs, documentation, authentication, transaction flows, error handling and operational requirements, and work with external partners to resolve gaps or ambiguities.
• Ensure integrations are sufficiently understood and validated before handing them over to Engineering for implementation.
• Remain involved during development and testing where coordination with external partners is required.

Regional Orchestration

• Act as a central coordination point across APAC for initiatives involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive discussions to conclusions, remove blockers, maintain clear ownership and ensure that important regional activities continue to progress.
• The role is expected to take ownership of outcomes rather than simply facilitate discussions.

Leadership

• Lead and develop Partner & Customer Success resources within the APAC region, including existing PreSales capabilities.
• Provide guidance on customer engagements, integrations, performance investigations and escalations.
• Help establish consistent regional practices for technical discovery, onboarding, partner management, performance analysis and integration handover.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role would be reflected through:

• Faster and smoother customer and partner integrations
• Better-quality requirements reaching Engineering
• Strong relationships with customers, vendors and mobile operators
• Earlier identification of customer performance issues
• Better understanding of the drivers behind customer growth or decline
