Summary: Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer to join our team in Rapid City, SD. The role involves working with machine electrical components, specifically focusing on wiring harnesses for engines, and includes responsibilities like creating models and drawings for electrical assemblies and evaluating design models for cost effectiveness and safety. Responsibilities: - Create models and drawings for various electrical components or assemblies (i.e. sensor groups, wiring harnesses, cables, and mounting brackets) - Evaluate the cost effectiveness, reliability and safety of certain design models - Create and/or modify wiring schematics - Interpret prints and engineering standards - Communicate technical information to team members, other engineering teams and suppliers Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering with 0-2 years' experience - Proficiency in application of PTC Creo or other parametric 3D modeling tools - Experience with electrical design pertaining to automotive or heavy equipment systems - Mechanical print reading and/or drafting experience - Experience with modeling/designing in 3d parametric modeling software (i.e. Creo, Inventor, Solidworks, etc.) - Experience with application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Good organizational and time management practices Preferred Qualifications: - Experience maintaining or operating heavy equipment Required Skills: PTC Creo, Parametric 3D modeling, Electrical design - automotive systems, Electrical design - heavy equipment systems, Mechanical print reading, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, 3D modeling software - Inventor, 3D modeling software - Solidworks Benefits: 401(k), Dental insurance, Vision Insurance, Disability insurance, Employee assistance program, Health insurance, Health savings account, Life insurance, Paid time off, Paid Holidays
