CDL A Yard Jockey - Home Daily in Carlisle, PA

• Carlisle, PA
• $25.00/Hr
Schedule: Home Daily - Monday through Friday
• • 1st Shift (Start Time Approx: 5am - 7am)
  • Possible overtime
  • Occasional weekend work during peak periods.
  
  
• Jockeying for a customer with some local runs.

CDL A Jockey Truck Driver Responsibilities

• Safely operate a jockey truck following on-the-job training.
• Efficiently move trailers in and out of dock doors or designated yard locations for a customer, handling approximately 20–30 trailer movements per shift, depending on yard volume.
• Perform some local runs as needed.
• Use a smartphone for job-related tasks, including sending/receiving text messages, emails, and photos.

Job Requirements:

• Carlisle, PA
• Valid CDL A License
• Valid Standard Driver’s License
• Driving Experience: At least two (2) years of verifiable driving experience within the past three (3) years.
• Minimum Age Requirement: You must be at least 23 years old.
Clean Driving Record:
• 
  
  • No more than three (3) moving violations in the past 36 months.
  • No more than two (2) moving violations in the past 12 months.
  • No at-fault accidents involving injury, significant property damage, or citations in the past three (3) years.
  
  
• Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying weather conditions.

Wage Range: 25.00 - 25.00 per hour
