Job Description
Summary: DraftKings Inc. is a technology company that is shaping the future of AI in the gaming industry. The Horse Racing Operations Associate will support the execution and growth of the Horse Racing product, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experiences and optimize operations.
Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of operational processes that power the Horse Racing product, helping ensure a seamless and high-quality customer experience
- Collaborate with teams across Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Compliance to support initiatives that improve performance and optimize offerings
- Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance customer journeys and contribute to solutions that improve key business metrics
- Help define and execute promotional campaigns for the Horse Racing product, partnering closely with the Promotions Team to bring strategies to life
- Analyze promotional and product performance, using data to uncover insights and inform future strategies
- Support project execution from planning through delivery, helping keep initiatives on track and aligned with team goals
- Leverage your interest in horse racing to contribute ideas that improve the product experience and drive engagement
Required Qualifications:
- Must be based in Oregon and able to work remotely from within the state
- At least 1 year of experience in an operations, analytics, or business support role, ideally within a fast-paced or data-driven environment
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Microsoft Excel to interpret data and generate insights
- An interest in project management, with the ability to stay organized and contribute to multiple initiatives simultaneously
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred
- A baseline knowledge of the horse racing industry is strongly preferred
