Strategic Finance Manager at Dr. Squatch in Marina del Rey, CA

Summary: Dr. Squatch is a company focused on men's personal care products, recognized for its growth and commitment to sustainability. The Strategic Finance Manager will support financial analysis and modeling, contribute to revenue forecasting, and collaborate with various departments to evaluate the financial impact of growth initiatives. Responsibilities: - Financial analysis and reporting, including ongoing trend analysis, monthly reporting packages, comparisons between actual vs. projected performance, etc - Ownership of relationship with the Accounting Department, with a heavy emphasis on finance-focused review - Financial modeling, with focus on: - DTC cohort analysis/trends - New vs. existing customer behavior, how it relates to our projections - Retail POS data analysis including market sizing and trend analysis - Expense forecasting - Assist in liquidity planning and forecasting - Business partnership and collaboration with Ops on product margin and contribution analysis - Special projects, including support for retail, international, and product expansion - Budgeting support across marketing and other departments - Other projects as assigned Required Qualifications: - 1-3 years of finance experience in investment banking or private equity - Bachelors degree - Expert level skills in Excel and PowerPoint - Strong financial modeling skills - Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to take ownership - Problem solver with a sense of urgency - Excellent communication and presentation skills, for internal financial recommendations and outside investor relations - Interest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industries Preferred Qualifications: - Operational finance experience - Experience working with consumer product/DTC business models Required Skills: Financial modeling, Excel, PowerPoint Important Skills: Financial analysis, Consumer product experience Nice-to-Have Skills: Entrepreneurial mindset, Communication skills, Problem solving, Attention to detail Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with Squatch match, PTO, Healthy snacks, Frequent company events, Free products
