Summary: DP World is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join their FP&R team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience supporting financial planning, reporting, and AI-driven financial modeling and analysis while assisting with various financial tasks and data analysis. Responsibilities: - Assist the Financial Planning & Reporting team in delivering accurate and timely financial insights, including management reporting and performance analysis - Support the development and enhancement of financial models using AI-enabled tools to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency - Analyze financial data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to support business decision-making - Assist in the preparation of monthly and ad hoc management reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership - Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including data collection, model updates, and variance analysis - Maintain and enhance spreadsheets and reporting tools used for financial analysis and reporting - Assist with accounting-related activities such as account reconciliations and transaction processing where required - Conduct research on financial trends, industry benchmarks, and AI applications in finance - Perform basic administrative duties such as filing and organizing financial documentation - Provide support to FP&R team members on ongoing financial and transformation projects, including automation initiatives - Build practical knowledge in FP&R, financial analytics, and the use of AI in finance functions Required Qualifications: - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends - Effective written and verbal communication skills to present insights clearly - Proficiency in spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) and familiarity with financial systems; exposure to data analytics or AI tools is a plus - High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial data and reporting - Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities effectively - Ability to identify issues and recommend solutions related to financial data and processes - Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial ratios - Interest in leveraging AI and automation tools within finance processes - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Required Skills: Financial Planning & Reporting, Financial Modeling, Data Analysis, Management Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, Excel, Financial Systems, Accounting Principles, Financial Statements, Financial Ratios
