Data Analyst Intern (Summer 2026) at Double Good in Chicago

Summary: Double Good is a leading fundraising app redefining how youth organizations raise funds. They are seeking a Data Analyst Intern to join their Data & Analytics Team for a 10-week summer internship, providing hands-on experience and support for business priorities through data analysis and reporting. Responsibilities: - Support business data analysts in compiling and analyzing data within our Data Warehouse built on top of Snowflake - Identify efficiencies within current SQL transformations and queries and help improve performance of analytical queries - Build and manage reporting within Looker - Support the Data and Analytics team with projects that contribute to business priorities - Conduct research, analysis, and reporting to support decision making - Assist in identifying insights and opportunities for improvement - Work with team members across the organization to understand business challenges - Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and insights - Support cross-functional initiatives as needed - Assist with preparing reports, presentations, or dashboards - Present findings and recommendations as part of a final internship capstone project Required Qualifications: - Familiarity with SQL or comparable query languages - Experience in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Economics, Applied Math, or Computer Science with an expected graduation date of Spring 2027 - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Highly organized with strong attention to detail - Curious mindset and willingness to learn - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Interns must be available to participate in the full 10-week program and commit to the start and end dates listed above - This position requires current authorization to work in the United States Required Skills: SQL, Analytical skills Important Skills: Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets Nice-to-Have Skills: Curious mindset, Collaboration skills Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: Medical, dental and vision coverage, Immediate vesting in our 401k plan, Paid time off, Company-paid leaves, Popcorn Allowance (yup, free popcorn!)
