Job Description
Summary: Double Good is a leading fundraising app and technology company redefining how youth organizations raise funds. They are seeking an Accounting Intern to gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful projects that support the company's growth.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end close tasks, including preparing journal entries, and supporting account reconciliations
- Help track and organize inventory and production data, including pulling reports and identifying variances for team review
- Support the Accounting team with projects that contribute to business priorities
- Conduct research, analysis, and reporting to support decision making
- Assist in identifying insights and opportunities for improvement
- Work with team members across the organization to understand business challenges
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and insights
- Support cross-functional initiatives as needed
- Assist with preparing reports, presentations, or dashboards
- Present findings and recommendations as part of a final internship capstone project
- As part of the Double Good Internship Program, interns will also participate in:
- Orientation and onboarding
- Professional development sessions
- Leadership roundtables
- Social and networking events
- A final capstone project presentation
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Excel, including working with formulas, pivot tables, and data organization
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets accurately
- Interest in accounting systems and ERP platforms (experience with D365 or similar systems is a plus)
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with an expected graduation date of Spring 2027
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Curious mindset and willingness to learn
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Interns must be available to participate in the full 10-week program and commit to the start and end dates listed above
- This position requires current authorization to work in the United States
