Restaurant Manager – Quick Service Restaurant… at Doner and… · Dubai

Doner & Gyros Restaurants is looking for an experienced and hands-on Restaurant Manager to oversee the complete day-to-day operations of one of our outlets in Dubai.

The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the store, including staff management, food quality, food cost, inventory, customer service, hygiene, municipality compliance and daily operational controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation and performance of the assigned restaurant.
• Supervise and manage all outlet staff, including Line Cooks, Cashiers and other restaurant team members.
• Prepare staff schedules and ensure appropriate manpower coverage during all shifts.
• Ensure all employees follow company SOPs, operational procedures and management instructions.
• Monitor food preparation, quality, portion control, presentation and consistency.
• Maintain strict control over food cost, wastage and portioning and take corrective action where required.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely ordering of food, packaging, cleaning materials and other operational requirements.
• Ensure all deliveries and received goods are properly checked against orders and reported accordingly.
• Maintain accurate inventory and minimize stock discrepancies, wastage, spoilage and unnecessary costs.
• Monitor daily sales, cash handling and outlet transactions and ensure proper closing procedures are followed.
• Ensure the restaurant achieves its operational and sales targets as communicated by the Operations Head.
• Monitor customer service and address customer complaints or operational issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure strict compliance with Dubai Municipality, food safety, hygiene and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Ensure proper food storage, temperature control, expiry-date monitoring and FIFO practices.
• Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed every day.
• Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, grooming and overall discipline.
• Train, coach and guide staff to improve productivity, service standards and operational performance.
• Identify performance issues and take appropriate action in coordination with the Operations/HR team.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly or monthly reports as requested by the Operations Head.
• Provide accurate information regarding sales, stock, wastage, manpower, operational issues and other store-related matters.
• Coordinate with the Operations Head, HR, Procurement, Finance and other relevant departments when required.
• Ensure company assets, equipment, stock and cash are properly safeguarded.
• Immediately report any operational, safety, food quality, staff or customer-related incidents to management.
• Ensure the outlet is adequately prepared for audits, inspections and municipality visits.
• Maintain a high level of discipline, cleanliness, food safety and customer service at all times.
• Take ownership of problems within the outlet and ensure they are followed through to resolution.

Requirements

• Minimum 2– 4 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager / Outlet Manager, preferably within a QSR, fast-food or high-volume restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food cost, inventory control and wastage management.
• Experience managing kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and municipality requirements in the UAE.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume restaurant environment.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and restaurant/POS systems is an advantage.
• Candidates with UAE restaurant management experience will be preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
