Construction Intern (Owner's Rep) - Summer 2027 - Phoenix Regional Office
This is a full-time, on-site internship starting approximately June 8, 2027 and ending approximately August 20, 2027.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis beginning late September 2026. Initial interviews are expected to begin in mid to late-October 2026, and we anticipate completing the majority of hiring decisions by late December 2026 for Summer 2027 internships. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Construction Intern – Owner’s Rep will support the Construction and Architectural Services department by assisting with on-site project oversight, documentation review, and invoice processing. This role will work closely with senior construction staff, attending site walks and project meetings, managing punch lists in Procore, and reviewing key deliverables from contractors. The intern is expected to uphold Dominium’s policies and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external partners.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Participates in scheduled site walks and meetings with senior construction staff, including: Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings, Monthly cost issue meetings, and Daily and/or monthly site walks
- Assists in creating and managing project punch lists using the Procore Punch List Tool.
- Reviews Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals submitted by the General Contractor for completeness and accuracy.
- Submits FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) invoices through Yardi for processing.
QUALIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Training and Experience.)
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare spreadsheets, and assist with cost estimation for projects and purchases.
