Summary: Doherty Enterprises is seeking a passionate Accounting Intern to join their team in Allendale, New Jersey. The role involves preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, assisting in the month-end closing process, and collaborating with the team for variance analysis. Responsibilities: - Prepare and post journal entries for assigned activities - Perform monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts - Assist in the month-end closing process - Collaborate with team for monthly variance analysis and documentation - Assist in mid-year audit review by pulling requested testing samples Required Qualifications: - Pursuing College Degree-with an interest and aptitude to work in Accounting or Finance - Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail - Able to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously - Proactive, self-starter Required Skills: Journal entries, Monthly reconciliations, Month-end closing, Variance analysis, Audit review Benefits: Gain real life work experience while working towards your degree and get paid to do it!
