Certified PreK Teacher/Full-Time

Location: Waltham, Massachusetts

Every question a preschooler asks is an opportunity to spark a lifetime of learning.

As a Full-Time EEC Certified PreK Teacher at Discovery Village Child Care Center, you'll inspire children ages 4-6 years as they explore, investigate, create, and discover the world around them. In our Reggio Emilia-inspired classrooms, curiosity isn't interrupted—it becomes the curriculum.

Working as part of a collaborative teaching team, you will create a warm, engaging, and thoughtfully prepared learning environment where children are encouraged to ask questions, solve problems, express themselves creatively, and develop confidence as capable learners. Through meaningful relationships, intentional observation, hands-on exploration, and play-based learning experiences, you will support each child's social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development while fostering a lifelong love of learning.

At Discovery Village, we believe children are capable, curious, and competent. We value educators who see themselves not only as teachers, but as partners in learning—professionals who inspire wonder, encourage independence, document children's thinking, and build strong relationships with families and fellow educators.

If you're passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences, celebrating children's ideas, and making a lasting impact during one of the most important stages of development, we'd love to welcome you to our team.
