Summary: Discovery Senior Living is one of the nation’s most purpose-driven and people-centered senior living organizations. They are seeking a Server to create a warm dining experience for residents and guests by providing friendly and timely meal service while maintaining a clean dining environment.

Responsibilities:
- Take meal and beverage orders and serve food in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
- Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals and dining experience
- Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menus, and food items to assist residents with selections
- Set up, maintain, and clean dining room tables, side stations, and surrounding areas
- Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
- Practice proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including completing assigned checklists
- Support orientation and training of new servers as needed
- Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and hospitality
- Assist with dining room organization, flow, and supply placement
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- Enjoys working with seniors and providing excellent customer service
- Ability to interact professionally and courteously with residents, guests, and team members
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Demonstrates good judgment, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift trays, dishes, and supplies (up to 25–50 lbs.)
- Possible exposure to cleaning chemicals and food service equipment
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends/holidays
- Comfort interacting closely with residents during meals

Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous dining or hospitality experience preferred
