Apply Job Type Part-time Description Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School seeks a dependable and service-oriented Custodian to assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The Custodian contributes to the ministry of Catholic education by ensuring that school facilities reflect the dignity, hospitality, and stewardship values of the Church. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine custodial and cleaning duties throughout the campus, including classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, gymnasium, and common areas. Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas. Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste properly. Clean and restock restroom facilities. Assist with the setup and breakdown of school, diocesan, and community events. Maintain campus grounds and facilities in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and facility issues to the appropriate supervisor. Follow all diocesan and school safety policies and procedures. Support special events, including athletic competitions and school functions, as needed. Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail. Demonstrated respect for the mission and values of Catholic education. Ability to maintain positive and professional relationships with students, faculty, staff, parents, and visitors. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to perform physical labor associated with custodial and facility maintenance duties. Schedule Morning hours, Monday through Friday. Occasional evenings required for athletic events, school activities, and special events.
