SENIOR IU/UX Designer - REMOTE at Digital Factory, Inc. in Remote
Job Description
**NOTE: This is an equity-only, fractional leadership opportunity. There is no salary or hourly compensation at this time.
The Senior UI/UX Designer will shape the user experience and visual design of Digital Factory’s next-generation web and mobile applications, focusing on the location, data integration, and engagement-quality challenges at the core of our behavioral intelligence technology. You will evolve our existing design guidelines into a cohesive, scalable design system and create intuitive experiences across mobile field-data-collection tools, internal product and administrative platforms, and web experiences. Working closely with engineering and leadership, you will translate complex, data-rich workflows into clear, intuitive interfaces, establish reusable UI patterns and components, and move concepts from wireframe through implementation. The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of systems thinking, rapid iteration, and polished visual design, creating distinctive, intentional experiences built to scale. This is an equity-only role, ideal for an experienced UI/UX designer who enjoys building and evolving products from the ground up and thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
What You’ll Do
Design the next generation of web and mobile applications that tackle the location, data integration, and engagement-quality challenges at the core of our behavioral intelligence technology.
Review our existing design guidelines and evolve them into an updated, cohesive design system applied across the main website and internal product surfaces.
Design new concepts for mobile field-data-collection tools, internal admin dashboards, and marketing/product websites as needed.
Translate complex, data-dense workflows (geofencing, behavioral scoring, audience segmentation) into interfaces that are clear and intuitive for both technical and non-technical users.
Partner directly with engineering and leadership to move concepts from wireframe to shipped product quickly.
Establish and document reusable UI patterns, components, and design tokens so the system scales as the product suite grows.
Balance rapid iteration with a polished, professional visual identity — this isn't generic SaaS design; it should feel distinct and intentional.
What You Bring
BS in graphic design, Computer Science, IT, or a related field
5+ years of UI/UX design experience, and a portfolio showing shipped web and mobile products.
Strong command of modern design tooling (Figma required) and the ability to hand off clean, developer-ready specs.
Experience designing data-heavy interfaces, dashboards, analytics tools, or platforms involving maps/location data is a strong plus.
A systems-thinking approach: comfort building and maintaining a scalable design system, not just one-off screens.
Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-moving startup environment with limited oversight.
Strong product instincts: you can take a vague problem statement and turn it into a clear, well-reasoned design direction.
What You Get
Real product influence with the ability to shape the design system, user experience, and visual direction of an evolving technology platform.
High-impact design work across web, mobile, internal platforms, and data-rich product experiences that present complex UX challenges.
Direct collaboration with engineering and leadership, providing visibility into product strategy, technical considerations, and business priorities.
Opportunity to build and scale, establishing design standards, reusable components, and experiences that can grow with the product suite.
Creative ownership and autonomy to bring forward ideas, challenge assumptions, and help define what a distinctive Digital Factory experience should look and feel like.
Portfolio-building experience creating and evolving real-world digital products from concept and wireframe through implementation.
Flexible, entrepreneurial environment designed for experienced professionals who value meaningful contribution, collaboration, and the opportunity to help build something from the ground up.
