Job Description
This role will mainly be focused on fluid checks and basic maintenance. Typically, a Tire and Lube Technician will change a vehicle's oil and filter. Check and fill fluid levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check air levels and gauges.

Tire and Lube Technician Responsibilities:
- Draining the oil from a vehicle and replacing it to manufacturer specifications
- Topping off other fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluid
- Inspecting the engine block and under body for leaks and potential issues
- Checking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacturer specifications
- Installing new car parts, such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers and batteries
- Lubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicing
- Identifying existing issues and consulting with lead mechanics on the team to address the vehicles’ issues
- Mounting and balancing of tires , performing tire repairs
Tire and Lube Technician Requirements:
- Knowledge of automobiles
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Ability to lift 60 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow processes and follow safety guidelines
- Basic computer skills
- Positive, friendly attitude
