Responsibilities: - Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience - Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc - Promote company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.) - Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all Company information - Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customer) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect - Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store - Perform other tasks as assigned by management Required Qualifications: - Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour) - Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking - Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform - Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously) Preferred Qualifications: - Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred Required Skills: Retail Sales, Cashiering, Decision-Quality/Decision-Making Abilities, Instills Trust, Customer-Focus, Ensures Accountability Benefits: DICK'S Sporting Goods complies with all state paid leave requirements., We also offer a generous suite of benefits.
