Role Purpose:

This role demands a technically skilled and analytically strong professional with exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities. The incumbent will oversee risk data management while supporting development, regulatory reporting implementation, and data governance. Additionally, the position involves active engagement in portfolio management automation initiatives including creation of SOPs and updating of process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Management & Analytics

• Lead the end-to-end process of risk data management including capturing, organizing, storing, and analyzing.
• Perform data analytics to support regulatory and management reporting.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and authorize necessary maintenance or modifications.
• Assist in data extraction (system and manual) and preparation for required reports.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources and deliver it in the agreed format using SAS and SQL expertise.
• Execute BAU (Business-As-Usual) activities across applications and systems.
• Addressing the data requirements from CBUAE along with looking at the automation aspects of the same as a part of TO-BE process.

2. Implementation & Change

• Collaborate with IT teams to test and validate data accuracy and migration.
• Review current data logics and SAS coding for retail and regulatory reports. Update and enhance the coding based in line with regulatory guidelines and retail reporting mechanisms.
• Deploy automated reports using SAS Data Integration.

Review current SOPs and enhance the documentation.

3. Technology & Tools

• Apply statistical software (SAS, SQL) for analysis and support.
• Review and optimize existing SAS implementation code to improve processing efficiency.
• Integrate SAS Stratum with SAS Viya.

4. Portfolio Management and IT Projects

• Engage in portfolio management projects including implementation of new requirements and data standards.
• Perform testing to ensure correct data migration and reporting.
• Configure the latest CBUAE requirements into SAS.
• Prepare and maintain Data Quality (DQ) reports aligned with portfolio data requirements as part of a structured data delivery framework.
• Automate existing manual regulatory and management reporting processes.
