US Retail Logistics Coordinator
Location: MECHANICSBURG, Pennsylvania
Position Summary
The US Retail Logistics Coordinator supports the daily processing and shipping of DHC retail orders. This position works with the Warehouse Manager and warehouse team to make sure customer orders are processed, picked, packed, labeled, and shipped according to each retailer’s requirements.
The position will work with different retail accounts and learn the specific shipping requirements and procedures for each account. Training will be provided on DHC systems, retail customer portals, and account-specific procedures.
Main Responsibilities
- Process retail customer orders and enter necessary information into the warehouse system.
- Prepare shipping paperwork, labels, packing lists, and other documents needed for customer orders.
- Work with warehouse associates to make sure orders are picked, packed, and shipped correctly and on time.
- Use customer portals to process shipments and complete required shipping information.
- Follow the specific shipping, labelling, and routing requirements for each retail customer.
- Assist with Amazon Vendor Central, Ulta, Sam’s Club, Target, and other DHC retail accounts as needed.
- Track shipments and help resolve shipping or delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate order and shipping records.
- Assist with inventory questions or discrepancies when needed.
- Help keep account procedures and SOPs updated as requirements change.
- Communicate with the Warehouse Manager when there are order issues, delays, shortages, or other concerns.
- Provide backup coverage for other retail accounts when associates are out of the office.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, preparing shipments, and operating a forklift when needed.
- Learn additional U.S. and international retail accounts as needed.
Experience and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of previous warehouse, shipping, logistics, or retail order processing experience preferred.
- Prior Leadership experience preferred (as a team lead or supervisor)
- Experience with retail customer portals is helpful but not required.
- Experience with Amazon Vendor Central, Ulta, Sam’s Club, Target, or similar retail accounts preferred but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft platforms.
- Experience using a warehouse management system.
- Proficient knowledge of FedEx, UPS, USPS, small parcel, and LTL shipping.
- Forklift experience is preferred; must be willing to complete forklift training within first 60 days of employment.
- Proficient knowledge of international shipping paperwork and commercial invoices is preferred but not required.
