Job Description
Summary: Dewberry is a leading professional services firm seeking a Transportation Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 in their Orlando, FL office. The role offers an opportunity for professional growth while supporting a variety of transportation projects for local and national clients.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and evaluating engineering solutions
- Preparing design calculations, quantities, cost estimates, and drawings
- Assisting with various studies and documenting results
- Adherence to assigned project schedules and budgets
- Writing internal communications
- Performing other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (with emphasis in transportation preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office software
- Desire to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship experience preferred
- Experience using CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD) a plus
