Summary: Dewberry is a leading professional services firm seeking a Site/Civil Engineering Intern in their Charlotte, NC office for Summer 2026. The intern will assist in site/civil design for various projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial site development. Responsibilities: - Assist with all aspects of site/civil development including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design - Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans - May also conduct code research, and assist with specifications Required Qualifications: - Pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering required - Experience with Microsoft office is required - Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work in a team environment - At this time, Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization Preferred Qualifications: - Previous internship experience preferred - Knowledge of AutoCAD, Water CAD, and Storm CAD is a plus Required Skills: AutoCAD, Water CAD, Storm CAD, Microsoft Office, Site/Civil Engineering, Grading design, Roadway design, Storm water management systems design, Erosion and sediment control design Benefits: A housing stipend may be provided for this position.
