Summary: Devil's Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa is seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to join their corporate office in Denver. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn about various industries while assisting the accounting team with financial tasks and reporting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliations (mainly cash and fixed assets), and journal entries
- Learn and utilize accounting software and systems to process financial transactions
- Leverage data to prepare financial reports
- Support the accounting team with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Collaborate with the accounting team to implement or improve process improvements
- Assist with special projects as assigned by the Director of Finance
- Attend meetings and/or trainings to enhance accounting/finance skills
- Uphold company values and promote a positive work culture
- Communicate effectively with all team members

Required Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college during internship period
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Strong communication skills
- Great attitude
