Role Description
The role is in the Financial Control team and will require the candidate to assist in the preparation and timely delivery of the Key Controls within the Banks Regulatory reporting. The role will require the candidate to maintain a strong control environment built on sustainability, process improvement and automation.
The successful candidate will have experience in banking, trend analysis preparation/movements, end-to-end regulatory reporting control production life cycle and preparation of written communication to management in a clear, concise and useful manner.

Your key responsibilities
Execute controls within the Finance Control Framework to support the accuracy and timely submission of regulatory report filings with the regulatory bodies.
Ability to process significant manual and complex reconciliation activities to ensure data is in alignment with reporting requirements.
Ability to prepare/present quarterly analytics and variance analyses for due diligence with team manager and functional partners
Demonstrate business/product knowledge, understanding of organizational structure, general knowledge of accounting/reporting requirements.
Assist in the development and implementation of new controls processes (if required) and work to automate as necessary
Maintain documentation of procedures and governance for the reports
Liaise with various internal teams. (Technology, Business Finance, Regulatory Reporting)
Participate in and provide information for bank examinations and internal and external audits
Ensure compliance with internal regulatory reporting policies and procedures
Assist in the identification, escalation and remediation of data quality issues and enhancements
Attend required Finance, Regulatory, and any mandatory compliance training
Your skills and experience
4-6+ years of experience in a position of increasing responsibility within a finance or accounting organization
Knowledge of accounting requirements
Advanced skills in MS applications and working knowledge of SQL is a plus
Strong teamwork, pro-active/result-oriented work ethic
Well-developed organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, aligned with excellent attention to detail and time management
Experience in the automation and implementation of process improvements
Strong written and oral communication skills required including business communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with strict reporting deadlines.
Ability to demonstrate business/product knowledge; understanding of organizational structure, general knowledge of accounting/reporting requirements
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and keep pace with technical and operational innovation .
Academic / Knowledge Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
CPA, MBA or advanced degree beneficial
Knowledge of SAP, general ledgers, and its related activities is a plus
Ability to work autonomously, but with specific guidance/direction
