Job Summary

A Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of web applications. This role involves building responsive user interfaces, creating scalable server-side logic, integrating databases, and ensuring seamless communication between all system layers. The developer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, optimize application performance, and maintain high standards of code quality and security. Strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in modern frameworks and programming languages, and the ability to work across the entire development lifecycle are essential. 


Requirements

Full Stack Developer Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across the full stack (front-end, back-end, databases, and APIs).
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
  • Develop robust server-side logic, RESTful APIs, and microservices using languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET.
  • Create and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models (SQL and/or NoSQL).
  • Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards.
  • Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, cloud services, and internal systems.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications using CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and high-quality user experiences.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the tech stack.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
  • Strong back-end development experience with one or more server-side languages.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, JUnit).
  • Background in system architecture or distributed systems.
  • Experience with performance tuning and application monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Travel

This position requires up to 20-25% over the course of implementation projects. Travel is frequently outside the local area and overnight, typically Monday – Thursday away from home for travel weeks. 

  •  International travel may be required. 
  •  Must be able and willing to travel via air and automobile. 
  •  Must have a valid driver’s license.

The estimated base rate for this position:  $70,000 annually. The actual annual range is based on fair market value based on your geographical location, skills, role requirements, and responsibilities. This position also offers a variable bonus based on company and individual performance and employee stock options. This posted compensation is a good faith and reasonable estimate. Denovo reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the selected candidate's qualifications.
