Job Description
Summary: Delta Electronics Americas is a global leader in innovative energy-saving solutions and smart manufacturing. They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to improve mass production processes, analyze situations based on industry standards, and collaborate with team members for process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize and apply problem solving techniques to improve the mass production of new products and the arrangement of equipment and fixtures
- Ability to effectively analyze situations and apply standard practices based on industry standards
- Effectively collaborate with team members to find resolutions to problems in the field of mechanical engineering for process improvement
- Develop mechanical products by studying customer requirements, researching and manufacturing and assembly methods and materials
- Ensure that the EMS conforms to ISO14001: 2015
- Ensure processes are delivering intended outcomes
- Report to Top Management on the performance of the EMS; on opportunities for improvement; on change requirements; on innovations
- Ensure the integrity of the EMS is maintained
Required Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- 0+ years' experience (internship in relevant field is highly preferred)
- Ability to understand and resolve technical issues
- Proficient in Welding (if needed)
- Be an effective team player with collaborates well with others
