Unit Description
Delaware North operates concessions, premium dining, and retail services at the 41,297-seat Comerica Park, home of the MLB's Detroit Tigers. Delaware North has been a partner of the Tigers since 1930. Our chefs create a unique dining experience at the exclusive Tiger Club that offers a full view of the field. An extensive menu with an emphasis on Detroit-inspired fare is created for every game.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room including all equipment, utensils, tables, chairs, service stations, floors.
- Must be able to communicate with guests, have a friendly disposition
- Remove dirty dishes, silverware, and empty glasses from guest tables when needed.
- Keep food & beverage area well stocked and clean.
- Check in with management upon arrival for daily duties and station assignments.
- Attend pre-shift briefing, taking note of relevant information including service, food and beverage, and guest notes.
Qualifications
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of service experience in a hotel, full-service restaurant, catering facility, or club environment required
- Previous experience as a club runner preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire length of the shift
- Exposure to variable temperatures
- May be required to work in narrow spaces
