Summary: David Zwirner is an internationally recognized gallery committed to advancing its artists and exhibitions. The Communications Intern will support day-to-day operations, assist with media reports, and help manage the gallery's press archives while gaining exposure to the inner workings of a contemporary art gallery. Responsibilities: - Monitor, track, and clip daily media coverage for gallery artists and estates - Support the production of internal and external media reports, including a biweekly internal press coverage report - Assist with creating and updating press materials and assets - Research, expand, and maintain the gallery’s media contact database - Help manage the gallery’s press archive (print and digital) through organizational and research-based projects - Maintain awareness of arts, culture, and media trends relevant to the gallery and its roster Required Qualifications: - Strong interest in contemporary art and the broader creative landscape - Excellent attention to detail and highly organized - Able to work independently, take initiative, and manage the timing of personal tasks and projects - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Self-starter with strong time-management abilities - Familiarity with Mac, Photoshop, Excel, and Google Workspace is a plus but not required - All candidates must be residents of NY, NJ, or CT Required Skills: Interest in contemporary art Nice-to-Have Skills: Mac, Photoshop, Excel, Google Workspace, Time-management abilities
