Summary: David Mason + Associates has provided high quality Civil Engineering services since 1989. They are seeking an entry-level Civil Staff Engineer who will support the team by preparing engineering plans and assisting with various project-related tasks. Responsibilities: - Prepares engineering plans utilizing AutoCAD/Revit or similar design platforms - Assists in production of final construction drawings, details, and specifications - Prepares reports and calculations based on assigned project(s) including assessments, analysis, opinions of cost and other key components - Assists project managers as requested - Assists with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects - Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects - May perform site investigations and inspections in the field during and post construction - Attends client and public meetings as needed - Participates in and conducts research on local regulations based on project location(s) - Participate in business development efforts as requested - Provide technical oversight for the Department - Provide directions to Project Managers and senior project staff to ascertain coordination, completeness, and accuracy of critical technical requirements - Demonstrate the potential or ability to lead technical efforts as part of the overall design process - Follow and abide by the DMA employee and safety manuals - Completes other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - Holds a bachelor's degree - 1+ years of Civil Engineering experience, including internships - Successfully passed the FE exam Required Skills: Civil Engineering, FE exam, AutoCAD, Revit, Construction Drawings, Engineering Reports, Engineering Calculations, Site Investigations, Technical Oversight Benefits: Every-other Friday OFF, Hybrid schedule & flexibility, 70% employer paid Health benefits, "Family-first" company culture, Minority-Owned Business Enterprise, Plus, more!!
