Job Description
Summary: David Cutler Accountants + Advisors is an independent, full-service accounting and advisory firm. They are seeking a highly motivated Project Management Administrative Assistant to support project managers and internal teams while also handling a variety of administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers and internal teams regarding project needs, timelines, and priorities
- Assist with planning, coordination, and tracking of multiple projects
- Maintain and organize project documentation, reports, and assignments within project management software and web-based tools
- Monitor, update, and report on project progress
- Perform administrative tasks including data entry, report preparation, scheduling meetings, scanning, copying, printing, and filing
- Assist with assembling, filing, and organizing tax returns and client documentation
- Convert documents into both paper and digital files, ensuring accurate labeling and organization
- Communicate with clients via email and telephone to request or clarify information
- Conduct research and gather information as needed to support projects
- Support general office operations, errands, and miscellaneous administrative duties
- Complete tasks assigned by Project Managers and leadership in an efficient and timely manner
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or higher preferred
- 1–5 years of proven experience in an administrative support role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and calendar systems
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly responsive to emails, calls, and requests
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new processes, take feedback, and ask thoughtful questions
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and during peak deadline periods, including occasional weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or higher
- Previous experience in a project management, accounting, or professional services environment
- Intermediate-level Excel skills preferred (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, basic data analysis)
- Familiarity with project management software and web-based tools
