Manual Testing

• Analyze business requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
• Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings.

SQL Testing

• Validate data stored in databases using SQL queries.
• Perform backend database testing and data verification.
• Validate data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
• Create and execute complex SQL queries for testing purposes.

API Testing

• Test REST APIs using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Validate request/response payloads, status codes, headers, and authentication.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of APIs.
• Verify API data consistency with backend databases.

ETL Testing

• Validate source-to-target data mapping.
• Verify ETL workflows and data transformations.
• Test data migration and data warehouse processes.
• Identify and analyze data discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.

Automation Concepts

• Understanding of automation testing concepts and frameworks.
• Ability to identify test cases suitable for automation.
• Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress is preferred.
• Collaborate with automation teams to improve test coverage.

Required Skills

• 2 to 3 years of experience in Manual Testing.
• Strong experience in SQL Query Writing and Database Testing.
• Hands-on experience in API Testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of ETL Testing concepts.
• Experience in defect tracking and test management processes.
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Understanding of automation testing concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Selenium, Playwright, or other automation tools.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Knowledge of Python or Java basics.
• Experience in Banking, Healthcare, Retail, or Data projects.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2 to 3 years of relevant QA experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SQL, API Testing, and ETL Testing.
• Good understanding of software testing principles.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
