Job Description
Summary: Databricks is a leading data and AI company that helps organizations solve complex problems through their data and AI infrastructure platform. As a Product Pricing & Commercialization Intern, you will work with the Commercialization team on monetization strategies and high-impact projects, while being mentored by experienced professionals in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Own a high-priority monetization project from data-driven research to recommendation, such as defining the pricing for a new feature, evaluating a new market segment, and understanding competitor pricing models
- Provide the analytical rigor, data-driven insights, and first-principles thinking that shape commercial thinking for product areas with significant revenue potential
- Author insightful documents (e.g., internal strategy papers or Business Requirements Documents) that synthesize complex ideas for both technical and executive audiences
- Collaborate on creating product documentation and sales enablement content to ensure our field teams can effectively communicate Databricks’ value to customers
- Work across the Pricing and Product teams to understand the cross-portfolio consequences of pricing decisions, ensuring alignment across the product platform and CSP partnerships (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Required Qualifications:
- You will graduate from an MBA program in Spring 2027
- You have 3-5 years of previous professional experience in management consulting, investment banking, strategy, operations, business analysis, or related fields
- You demonstrate an advanced ability to define and break down ambiguous and complex business problems with limited guidance
- You are an excellent communicator (both written and oral), with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, insightful takeaways and action-oriented recommendations
- You put the team before yourself and are willing to get hands-on, no matter how small the task
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in enterprise software and cloud platforms preferred
- Previous experience with SQL preferred
