Job Description
The Grease Route Maintenance Driver is responsible for operation of a grease collection truck to collect cooking oil while providing quality service to our customers. The Maintenance side of the job is responsible for performing maintenance on grease containers including pick ups, deliveries, cleaning, painting, and any other function as directed.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Pump or load grease containers; ensure cleanliness of container and surrounding area; returns container with screen and lock secured; notes any damages to container or corral area; properly completes route ticket with customer signature.
- Responsible for established route as assigned.
- Performs maintenance on customer grease tanks including delivery, pick up, cleaning/painting, and grease spill response.
- Responsible for company vehicle; keeps vehicle in clean condition.
- Conducts all safety checks and inspections of vehicle; operates vehicle under state, federal, local regulations and in accordance with company policy and procedures; observes all company safety rules.
- Attendance at all safety meetings required; may be asked to serve on Safety Committee.
- Maintain excellent customer relations by presenting professional appearance and attitude.
- Responsible for completing all company required paperwork in accordance with company policies (route tickets, driver vehicle inspection reports, accident reports, mileage reports, service forms, etc.).
- Maintain and update vehicle condition report on a daily basis.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 21 years old with clean MVR.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating similar vehicle to grease route truck.
- Current CDL A license holder with proper endorsements.
- Must be registered on https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior route experience within a customer oriented environment preferred.
- Works well with others in a team environment.
- Dependable; reliable; ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
- Good math and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle and general maintenance.
