QA/ QC Engineer - MEP at Danube Group · Dubai

Danube Properties seeks a QA/QC Engineer - MEP to ensure quality standards in its Projects Onsite department. The ideal candidate will have a BE Mechanical degree and 5-7 years of experience in UAE contracting companies.

As a QA/QC Engineer - MEP, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards for Danube Properties' MEP projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in overseeing and implementing quality control measures, ensuring that all projects meet or exceed client expectations. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections and audits of MEP systems and installations to identify any deviations from design specifications or quality standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, highlighting areas of concern and providing recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to implement corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive quality control plan, including procedures, checklists, and documentation for MEP projects.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and construction methods to ensure compliance with design requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor the progress and quality of MEP installations, providing feedback and guidance to contractors.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials and equipment.
• Implement effective quality assurance techniques, such as statistical process control and root cause analysis, to identify and address potential issues.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in MEP quality control and incorporate them into Danube Properties' processes.
• Provide training and support to project teams on quality control procedures and ensure consistent implementation across all projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a QA/QC role within the UAE construction industry, preferably with a focus on MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection.
• Excellent understanding of quality control principles, standards, and regulations applicable to the UAE construction sector.
• Proficiency in using quality control software and tools, such as inspection checklists and reporting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes, regulations, and quality standards is highly preferred.
• Willingness to undergo training and stay updated with the latest industry developments and best practices.
