Are you interested in creating technical solutions, driving professional growth, and driving change? Do you have expertise in writing high quality code with .NET and a deep understanding of cloud and event-driven integration technologies?
We are looking for a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join our team in the Corporate Customer Engagement Tribe, where we possess strong CRM and customer insight capabilities.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales (Power Platform), serves as the CRM platform for managing corporate customer relationships, opportunities, leads, and advisory processes. The platform is integrated with the wider enterprise ecosystem through API‑based and event based integrations.
We work in a scaled agile set-up, with cross-functional squads staffed with a mix of business and functional specialists, developers and designers. As our tribe continues to grow, so do our responsibilities and the need to expand our capabilities. Your future colleagues are based in Denmark, India, and Lithuania collaborating seamlessly with other tribes across borders. A strong, fun and motivating culture is key to thriving in this setup, and you will play an important role in the continuous development of our culture.
We are proud to cultivate a strong, dynamic and inclusive culture where we support diversity, work collaboratively, and support one another. Teamwork and openness are at the heart of everything we do, and we believe in celebrating our progress and enjoying the journey together every day.
It is important you enjoy working with multiple cultures and across multiple locations - as we have tribe members as well as colleagues outside of our Tribe spread across multiple locations that we need to collaborate with, efficiently.
Joining this role in Lithuania means you will play a key role in shaping the team from the very beginning. You will have a unique opportunity to influence the team's growth, foster a positive and dynamic atmosphere, and help define new ways of working that will leave a lasting impact on the Tribe's culture and success.
As a Senior .NET Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our engineering culture and technical excellence across the tribe.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design and build scalable, secure, and high-quality technical solutions
- Lead code reviews and promote engineering best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align business and technical solutions
- Define and evolve engineering standards and ways of working
- Mentor and support other engineers
- Drive effective adoption of AI development tools (e.g. Copilot) to improve team productivity
- Promote best practices for AI-assisted development
- Lead implementation of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and layered architecture
- Design and evolve event-driven integrations with strong guarantees — idempotency, ordering, at-least-once delivery, retries and dead-lettering, and patterns such as the transactional outbox, eventual consistency, and event-carried state transfer
- Champion replay, backfill and reconciliation as first-class design concerns, backed by structured logging, correlation IDs / distributed tracing, and clear runbooks
- Design and publish events and APIs that other teams build on — with versioning discipline (additive changes, breaking-change management), consumer-facing documentation, and contract reviews
- Drive DevOps practices and CI/CD strategy using GitHub Enterprise or Azure DevOps
- Guide implementation of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) in AWS/Azure
- Contribute to adoption of event-driven architecture (Kafka / RabbitMQ)
- Influence technical direction and architecture decisions
A great match:
- 5+ years of experience with C# and .NET (.NET 8+)
- Strong experience designing scalable APIs and distributed systems
- Experience using modern development tools (e.g. Copilot) to improve engineering productivity
- Strong experience with Azure and/or AWS
- Strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and layered architecture
- Experience defining and enforcing engineering standards
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Enterprise or Azure DevOps) and GitHub Actions
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, or equivalent)
- Strong experience with SQL databases
- Experience with container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes)
- Proven mentoring and leadership capabilities
Event-driven concepts (very useful):
- Hands-on understanding of idempotency, ordering guarantees, at-least-once delivery, retries and dead-lettering
- Familiarity with the transactional outbox pattern, eventual consistency, and event-carried state transfer
- Treating replay, backfill and reconciliation as first-class design concerns
- Structured logging, correlation IDs / distributed tracing, and runbooks
Kafka and data contracts (very useful):
- Kafka as a producer — ideally Confluent: Avro, Schema Registry, schema evolution and compatibility rules
- Topic design: keys, partitioning, ordering, compacted topics
- Discipline in publishing events/APIs others depend on: versioning, breaking-change management, consumer-facing documentation, contract reviews
- CloudEvents
- Consumer-side Kafka experience (stream processing, lake ingestion) — helps you think like the teams consuming our events
AWS and infrastructure (very useful):
- AWS Lambda with .NET, and/or containers on ECS/Fargate
- Amazon SQS — especially FIFO queues (ordering, message groups, deduplication, dead-letter queues)
- Amazon DynamoDB — data modelling, conditional writes, transactions (nice to have)
- Local development of cloud systems: DynamoDB Local, LocalStack/ElasticMQ, Docker Compose, Testcontainers
CRM integration — Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dataverse (nice to have):
- Dataverse Web API / OData integrations
- Plugin development (event pipeline, filtering attributes)
- Designing around service protection limits / API throttling
- Entra ID authentication (service principals / application users, OAuth2 client credentials)
Also nice to have:
- Awareness of security best practices in cloud and integration design
