Are you an ambitious business or economics student with a strong interest in investment banking? Seize the opportunity to complete an internship in a rewarding environment at Danske Bank Investment Banking.
Each year we offer up to a total of 20 internship positions within Corporate Finance during five ten-week periods all year round. As such, you have the possibility to choose which period to attend in order to avoid collisions with e.g. course workload or exchange semesters abroad. We are now recruiting students to attend the internship periods starting in January, March and June 2027.
What’s in it for you
You have the opportunity to take part in a challenging and fun internship where you have the possibility to develop and to take your career to the next level through hands-on investment banking experience. Apply by the 13 September 2027 at latest to have the chance to become a full time, full pay, valued member in our driven team in Stockholm.
Danske Bank is characterised by an entrepreneurial and innovative mind-set. We are looking for employees who strive for development, both of themselves and of our organisation. If you wish to develop both personally and professionally, we offer you a high level of responsibility, as well as an inspiring team and committed managers who encourage you to grow. We offer you an inclusive work environment where you will contribute to our success, today and in the future.
Corporate Finance
At Corporate Finance, you will get valuable insights into the investment banking industry and experience the Corporate Finance profession in cross-border M&A and ECM activities. Your skills in financial analysis, valuation and strategic thinking will be put to the test. You will gain valuable experiences for your future career and increase your chances of a permanent position at Danske Bank Corporate Finance following the internship.
During your stay with us, you will conduct market research, assist in financial modelling, prepare pitch books and information memorandums, and be involved in all other essential work streams related to M&A and ECM transactions. As such, you will be exposed to all aspects of a transaction and have the opportunity to develop vital skills for a full time investment banker.
Who are you?
You have a passion for working in a dynamic and ambitious environment. You are persistent, independent, results oriented, and a quick learning team player. Ideally, you are attending your last year of your degree within business or economics and have a strong interest in working with corporate finance. You have a special interest in the financial markets in general, possess strong numerical and analytical skills and are a great communicator. You perform well under pressure and can manage periods of intense workload. Of course, your Swedish and English skills are excellent, both verbally and in writing. Are you ready for a challenge?
Apply to become an intern at Danske Bank Investment Banking by submitting your application with CV, cover letter and grade transcripts, from both university and upper secondary school, by 13 September 2027.
