Responsibilities: - Develop Power BI reports and dashboards: Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards to help users understand data and make informed decisions - Transform and cleanse data: Prepare data from various sources for analysis and reporting, including data cleaning and transformation tasks - Develop and execute database queries: Write and execute SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases - Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with business users to understand their data needs and requirements - Maintain and update reports and dashboards: Ensure reports and dashboards remain accurate, up-to-date, and relevant - Troubleshoot and resolve issues: Identify and resolve technical issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards - Stay updated on Power BI best practices and new features: Continuously learn and improve skills in Power BI development Required Qualifications: - Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree - Must have experience and proficiency in Power BI Desktop, with a strong understanding of Power BI's features and functionalities - SQL knowledge: Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and manipulation - Data modeling skills: Ability to design and implement data models for efficient reporting - Data transformation and cleaning skills: Experience with data transformation and cleaning techniques - Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts: Knowledge of data warehousing principles and best practices - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze data and identify solutions to business problems - Good communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders - Data Quality Assurance and Validation: Perform data validation to ensure consistency between source systems and BI reports - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with other BI tools or technologies (e.g., Tableau, Excel, Python, R) is a plus Required Skills: Power BI Desktop, SQL, Data Modeling, Data Transformation, Data Cleaning, Data Warehousing, Data Quality Assurance, Data Validation, Analytical Skills Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401K match, Paid time off (including volunteer time as well as parental leave)
