Job Description
Summary: Daimler Truck North America is a leader in innovative driving technology and sustainability solutions. They are seeking an IT Developer Analyst Intern to gain experience in IT systems software, databases, and application development while contributing to various projects within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Perform work across multiple areas of Gastonia’s overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration including IT systems software and databases, data networks and processing operations, end user technology and software support
- Develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications
- Code, test, debug, document and implement software applications
- Analyze requirements, test and integrate application components
- Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead projects to implement solutions
- Work on Agile projects, providing analysis as needed and developing applications that support DTNA teams
- Apply conceptual thinking to create best-in-class digital products while bridging user needs, business goals and technical realities
- Contribute to technical requirements, architecture, and interface design documents
- Lead and support efforts to foster an inclusive and welcoming workplace culture where everyone belongs
Required Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program or higher from an accredited college/university OR have recently graduated within 1 year of the position start date (May/June)
- Ability to work in a highly efficient and agile environment
- Experience with machining controls connectivity in automation environments
- Experience with SQL
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Solid organizational skills
- Creative mindset
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Tableau
- Experience with Snowflake
- Experience with Power BI
- Basic web development skills
