They are currently seeking a Fabricator to assemble products, troubleshoot issues, and maintain quality standards in Boyne City, MI. Responsibilities: - Assemble company products or parts using fabrication techniques, tools, and equipment - Fit, adjust, calibrate and align to ensure free action and movement of parts, tolerance fits, and operating requirements - Set up and run Press Brake - Work from assembly drawings and specifications - Set up press brake to comply with forming requirement of drawing - Trouble shoot and correct problems as required - Use precision measuring instruments, testing devices, and equipment to check parts, units, fits, and operating requirements - Count, weigh, transport, and pile materials - Perform material handling work directly related to production operations - Recognize obvious defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship and general quality - Maintains acceptable performance and quality standards - Demonstrates interpersonal skills in dealing with management and fellow employees - Performs other work-related duties as required - Participation in the company quality process Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED - Ability to lift 50 pounds - Ability to read assembly drawings - Previous shop experience with knowledge of manufacturing flow - Ability to work under pressure - Self-starter with ability to handle multiple tasks - Ability to prioritize work - Good problem solving and communication skills - Ability to read and write Preferred Qualifications: - CNC experience or equivalent Required Skills: Fabrication techniques, Press Brake operation, Assembly drawing reading, Precision measuring instruments, CNC experience, Manufacturing flow knowledge Benefits: Medical/RX Insurance – three plan options (2 with HSA with employer contributions), Dental & Vision Coverage, $500 sign on bonus, $500 UNLIMITED Referral Bonuses, $500 Quarterly Perfect Attendance Bonus Program, 401K Retirement Plan – with a company match of 100% on the first 4% of employee contributions, Employer paid Life Insurance, Medical and dependent care Flexible Spending Programs, Voluntary Benefits (ie: Critical Illness, Accident, Dependent Life), Short term disability, Employee Assistance Plan, Paid vacation and sick time and (10) paid holidays and (1) floating holiday per year, Overtime is paid at time and one-half & double time as per Labor Agreement
