Job Description
Summary: DÔEN is a digitally-led, multi-channel fashion and lifestyle brand founded by sisters Margaret and Katherine Kleveland. They are seeking a Technical Designer Intern to assist with sample management, fit preparation, and collaboration with the Tech Design team while learning about garment construction and brand aesthetics.
Responsibilities:
- Learning to fill in and track samples in Airtable
- Checking in samples and and organizing them daily
- Sending and tracking samples to vendors
- Measuring and reviewing sample construction prior to fittings and helping prep for fittings
- Working with Tech Design team members to organize and send fit lists and fit notes to cross functional teams
- Attend fittings, when possible, to learn the brand's aesthetics and take fit notes when needed
- Working with VP of TD on measuring and packing manuals
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Learning to fill in and track samples in Airtable

- Highly organized with the ability to multitask
- General knowledge of garment construction and the ability to measure garments
- Strong computer skills including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Word, Excel
- Must be able to be in office a minimum of 4 days a week; full schedule to be determined with supervisors
- Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation
- Periods sitting at a desk, typing, sketching and working on a computer
- Able to lift/move/push/pull objects up to 25 lbs
- Able to walk, sit and stand for periods of time
- Able to operate equipment such as computers, copy machines, phones
- Must be able to access various areas of a given location
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2D and 3D pattern experience preferred but not required
