Job Description
Summary: DÔEN is a digitally-led, multi-channel fashion and lifestyle brand founded by sisters Margaret and Katherine Kleveland. They are seeking a Product Development Intern to assist with fabric and trim sourcing, vendor communication, and sample management, while supporting the Product Development Team in various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with fabric and trim sourcing, swatch library organization, and vendor communication
- Coordinate shipments of samples, materials and packages to mills and vendors
- Support with sample management: organizing, labeling, checking in/out and distributing to internal and external teams
- Assist with Design Approval Meeting preparation and set up
- Assist with Collection Review set up
- Research current fashion trends, materials and innovations for seasonal inspiration
- Help prepare BOMs
- Provide general administrative and operational support to Product Development Team in day-to-day functions
Required Qualifications:
- Computer proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable in a rapidly growing company
- Must be able to be in office a minimum of 4 days a week; full schedule to be determined with supervisors
- Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation
- Periods sitting at a desk, typing, sketching and working on a computer
- Able to lift/move/push/pull objects up to 25 lbs
- Able to walk, sit and stand for periods of time
- Able to operate equipment such as computers, copy machines, phones
- Must be able to access various areas of a given location
