Summary: D.C. United is a Major League Soccer (MLS) team based in Washington, D.C., committed to excellence, innovation, and community engagement. They are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Partnerships Intern for the Fall semester of 2026 to assist in sports marketing, sponsorships, and relationship management, providing hands-on experience in the field. Responsibilities: - Help coordinate and run partnership activations and events - Support the development and maintenance of partner-related materials, including presentations, proposal and recaps - Research potential partners and industry trends to support partnership development - Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, ticketing, and operations to ensure successful partnership fulfillment - Assist in tracking and reporting partnership deliverables to ensure all obligations are met - Provide general administrative support to the Corporate Partnerships team including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and maintaining records Required Qualifications: - Eligible to receive college credit for the internship - Dedicate no more than 25 hours per week to the internship from August through November 2026 - Available to work on match days (including weekends) - Work may require occasional weekend or evening work - The selected candidate will be required to pass a background check - Must be able to receive college credit - Strong interest in sports, particularly soccer - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of Photoshop is preferred - Previous experience in sports marketing or corporate partnerships is a plus, but not required Required Skills: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Photoshop, Sports marketing, Corporate partnerships, Team player attitude Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Fall
