CDL-A Truck Drivers – Flatbed & Dry Van

Cypress Truck Lines is hiring experienced CDL-A Truck Drivers in the Atlanta, Georgia area for Flatbed and Dry Van opportunities. Earn competitive weekly pay, enjoy consistent freight, and get frequent home time.

Pay & Bonuses

• Earn $1,400–$1,600 per week

Flatbed

• $85 per load
• $0.52 per empty mile
• Deliver loads throughout Georgia
• Most freight is pre-positioned by linehaul drivers
• Average up to 3 deliveries per day

Dry Van

• $0.60 CPM, based on experience
• Minimum 2,500 miles per week
• Drop-and-hook freight at pickup and delivery
• No waiting to load or unload

Additional Pay & Benefits

• Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 for drivers with 1 year of tractor-trailer experience or $2,000 for drivers with recent flatbed experience. One year with previous employer required for bonus eligibility.
• Paid Training: 2–7 weeks of paid training. Drivers with 1+ year of experience can earn up to $1,000 per week while training.
• Performance Bonuses: Up to $600 quarterly for safety and performance.
• Seniority Bonuses: Annual bonuses ranging from $500 to $2,500.
• Tuition Reimbursement: Receive up to $5,000 if Cypress is your first employer after graduating from a non-Cypress CDL school. Reimbursement is paid at $100 per month.

Home Time

• Home most days
• While we strive for frequent home time, trucking schedules can occasionally affect home time.

Minimum Hiring Requirements

• Be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 1 year of CDL-A driving experience
• Successfully pass a Hair Follicle Drug Screen (12-month lookback)
• No more than 2 moving violations on a 5-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• No more than 1 speeding violation within the past 3 years
• No speeding violations exceeding 15 MPH over the posted speed limit within the past 5 years
• No rear-end preventable accidents within the past 5 years
• No careless driving convictions within the past 5 years
• No reckless driving convictions within the past 10 years
• No DUI/DWI convictions within the past 10 years, with a maximum of one lifetime DUI/DWI
• No misdemeanor convictions within the past 3 years
• No felony convictions within the past 7 years
