They are seeking a highly motivated intern to assist with the monitoring and operation of solar generation facilities, providing essential support to the SCADA team and gaining hands-on experience in the field. Responsibilities: - Assist the SCADA team with daily system monitoring and operational support - Help maintain and organize SCADA documentation, network diagrams, and system configurations - Support data collection, analysis, and reporting from SCADA systems - Assist with testing, validation, and troubleshooting of SCADA alarms, points, and dashboards - Participate in system upgrades, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives - Collaborate with engineers, operators, and IT/OT teams on assigned projects - Follow cybersecurity and safety best practices related to industrial control systems Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field - Basic understanding of SCADA, PLCs, automation systems, or industrial networks - Familiarity with data analysis tools, databases, or scripting (Python, SQL, etc.) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Networking and firewall experience - Ability to learn quickly and work well in a team environment - Good communication and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications: - Coursework or experience in automation, control systems, or networking - Interest in energy systems, microgrids, utilities, or industrial operations Required Skills: SCADA systems, PLCs, Automation systems, Industrial networks, Data analysis, Python, SQL, Networking, Firewall, Control systems, Energy systems, Microgrids, Industrial operations, Analytical skills Benefits: Hands-on experience with real SCADA and OT systems, Exposure to industrial automation, energy systems, or critical infrastructure, Mentorship from experienced engineers and operators, Practical experience that complements academic learning
